Many digital experiences require instruction, but often the complexity of the help documentation matches the complexity of the UI. Here are several examples of simple, effective, instruction. While it isn’t always possible to reduce something to one, two, or three steps, consider what fundamental concepts must be communicated and what additional information will contribute to users’ success or avoidance of common pitfalls.
